Autism is a neurological variation that occurs in about one percent of the population and is classified as a developmental disability. Although it may be more common than previously thought, it is not a new condition and exists in all parts of the world, in both children and adults of all ages. The terms “Autistic” and “autism spectrum” often are used to refer inclusively to people who have an official diagnosis on the autism spectrum or who self-identify with the Autistic community. While all Autistics are as unique as any other human beings, they share some characteristics typical of autism in common.

I was getting a variety of comments that were negative, insensitive, off-topic and so on. I didn't want the comments section getting cluttered with random stuff and I wanted to avoid any possible "discourse" in the comments section. This stamp is not about that. This stamp is to be able to give Autistic People and their supporters a chance to have something fun for their page. That's it. Leave it at that.

It is possible that I have autism.I live in an imaginary world, where I am in the male sex (usually a man-like unicorn or a unicorn machine), I'm not able to talk to other people.I do not know how to say this autism because I live in a village far from the world (and this in Poland).my mother has attacks of aggression and I do not have intimacy in the age of sixteen.I was beaten and even ticked "fearful” because of mother.I am swaying on bed with telephone imagine yourself in the world of a cartoon as this old (40+, 45, 45+ perhaps) male unicorn.

maybe it's a mental illness.I attach incredible importance to the imagination (my imaginary character who is me).I do not have friends, I can not talk, I avoid eye contact. I'm buying hopeless stuff from sachets that I do not play with.

I love this stamp, and I also hate Autism Speaks... they're a terrible company. I wish autism awareness month and the autism awareness movement would stop being hijacked by them!

I’m on the autism spectrum. My mom and a close aunt knew pretty much since I was young, that my brain functioned differently, but it was difficult to get a proper diagnosis (i think). And much of my aunt’s family (no direct blood relation) also has mental diagnosis stuff too.
I don’t know specifics plus I’m tired. I dunno. . .
