The only similarity between Digimon and Pokemon that you could take away from this image is that they both have designs inspired by dinosaurs (in this case, the T-rex). Other than that, Tyrunt doesn't share any similarities with any Digimon that I know of (which is admittedly few, since I'm not much of a fan either).

I mainly wrote that comment because the picture reminded me very much of that T-rex digimon, or at least the how I remembered it in my head (which I haven't seen for like years

I see what you mean. I was just making a point that the Pokemon itself wasn't very Digimon-esque at all, at least IMO. x)
But I'll admit, the new Megalutions did remind me a lot of Digimon at first (though I don't think that's what they were going for). IIRC they just wanted to add another level of depth to the game while catering to the older generations. I would probably be more critical of the feature, but some of the Megas are just too damn cool. x3
