Hey! Look! It's my first piece of digital art!Kinda crude, but I haven't really put much time into learning how my tablet program (Sumopaint) works yet. I pretty much dove in headfirst with only knowledge from a high school graphics art and design class with me, so not too shabby If I saw so myself. I'll need to watch some proper tutorials and experiment some later to prepare for the official Titan World bio pics.
This piece was actually whipped up because... *drumroll*... I've entered Drakia into the running for Colossal Kaiju Combat's August sponsorship! If I happen to get some sponsors and win the raffle (fingers crossed), she'll be eligible for the direct vote to make it into the game. So, yeah, wish my luck and all, guys. It'd be super neat to have Drakia running around CKC.
Tell my what you think! I've very open to suggestion and tips. I wanna improve so that my Aberrations look their sharpest whoever I get around to finishing and uploading Book One.

Now THIS! Is a great piece of first time digital! I can see a lotta great things coming from this piece! Once you get a hang of all the tools and such of digital coloring etc, there's a HUGE chance you'll be amongst the most well known Kaiju artist around!

Damn... For a first time Hayes, this is amazing. The detail, the mesh of colors and the pose just look amazing. Looks like a cartoon, but a very serious, dark cartoon. Demented even.

..my only complaint is your choice in CKC, given so much dislike I have heard for the game. But thats just me.

"Serious cartoon" is always how I've visualized my 'verse, so that's great to hear.
I've heard some complaints, yeah, but come one. Possibly getting one of your kaiju into a legit game. That's rad!

To sum the game up, I'd describe it being most like Godzilla: Save The Earth with some of the better elements of Unleashed (namely running).

Looks pretty neat. I can already give you a tip: if your program allows for different layers, redraw the line-art one a new layer and color underneath. No crossing lines, can erase whenever you want. Paintbuckets are simply too shoddy, if you want my opinion.

Yes. If you can get a mouse/tablet I would suggest using that (Tablet pen for small details and mouse for large areas).
