I feel like when it comes to Apollo, he's either portrayed as a cinnamon roll or as complete garbage*coughloreolympuscough* and to be honest, I feel like my favorite interpretation is someone not evil...but kind of a dumbass.

I blame overly sarcastic productions but I feel like it best fits a god of the sun and music. He's overly optimistic and emotional. He rushes down to impress any human or nymph that he finds attractive and still doesn't understand why they often run away at the sight of a fiery being of light falls before them.

He can still be an asshole though(like cursing Cassandra), like many other greek gods and goddesses, but I wouldn't make him as awful as Zeus.
