Because of the backstory written for this character, I wanted to give the impression of something that had been taken apart and crudely put back together into a monstrosity. The tubes sort of resembling human muscle in a way and a face into a skeletal sort of feel.

Occupation: Leader of Overcorp's super team the Titans

Abilities: Super strength, super durability, razor sharp metal spikes, various laser weaponry hidden in his body

Personality: Skilled actor, brutal, hateful, bad-tempered, arrogant

Likes: Fresh oil, the feeling of being freshly recharged, killing

Dislikes: humans rust, the hold Overcorp has on him

Initially designed as the ultimate "symbol of hope" by Doctors Clark Kent and Lois Lane, the robot that eventually became known as Doomsday was initially going to be called "Superman" with all the nobility that entails. However their corporate backers at Overcorp had their own ideas of what to do with this new robot and had it's creators murdered! They then set about making their own modifications, making him "darker and edgier", to appeal to more costumers. They also made certain to install a "slave chip" inside him to keep him from turning on them. Naming him Doomsday, since they felt that sounded "cooler" and "hipper" then Superman and marketed him as the anti-hero leader of the Overcorp backed team the Titans. They now use him both as a marketing gimmick and an enforcer of their will. Doomsday hates this situation but can do nothing about it, for now.
