Description The other fossil pokemon of the Yehaw region. It's based off of the quetzalcoaltus dinosaur. Honestly, I might not make a quetzalcoatle pokemon because Rayquaza already exists and is the perfect pokemon for that. I can incorporate it into the culture of southern Yehaw. Like that Rayquaza was exclusively worshipped by the ancient tribes after it prevented a serious disaster. I'm not entirely sure as of yet. You can get this pokemon from reviving the beak fossil.

Quettle(Quetzal + Little)

The ancient gliding pokemon

type: Rock/Flying

Ability: Gale Wings

Hidden Ability: Wind Magic(normal type moves become flying type)

Because of this Pokemon's likeness to the legendary pokemon, Rayquaza, some ancient cultures saw them as extensions of the legendary pokemon. While it's most likely just a coincidence, these pokemon seem to revere Rayquaza similar to how clefiaries revere the moon stone.

Quettle actually glide more than fly. They're able to control the air around them to help them glide through the air gracefully and stay afloat too.

Actually it’s based off of the Quetzalcoatl, an Aztec god/feathered serpent that was in charge of the sky and wind. Even it’s encounters with kyogre and groudon reflect the Aztec myth of Quetzalcoatl preventing the world from being destroyed by warring dieties.
