Description
After failing to steal MJ's body, Anna Maria Marconi had a fallback plan. Using some of MJ's DNA and mixing it with her own, she created a genetically engineered body. Unfortunately, only the torso got fully formed but she has more than enough tech to fill out the missing parts.

My idea of a spider-ock story would only last a day or two because MJ's loved ones wouldn't have been idiots and Anna Maria wouldn't try to be gross and rape Gwen(and not just because she's straight, it's also because she has goddamn standards). Gwen would've known something was up, especially when her lover decided to visit ravencroft and secretly heard Anna Maria taunting MJ who's consciousness was trapped in Anna Maria's robotic body that had been reduced to a limbless, broken down machine from her beatdowns. Before Anna Maria could skip town and start a new life, the sinister six would've broken doc ock out(of course thinking that she was Anna Maria) and Gwen would've found the machine used to swap their bodies.

Anna Maria's redeeming moment would be that she didn't want to hurt her colleagues. Unlike 616/Slott's Otto, she isn't a sociopath that saw them as tools but her associates(she would say friends but that's too...emotional) and after she punches scorpion at full strength, she's actually horrified. Of course, years of getting beaten up and thrown in jail again and again wouldn't get them to stop beating the crap out of her until MJ(in ock's body of course) steps in. Anna's robotic body is on a deadline as well and they swap back bodies right before the body shuts down.

Thought dead, MJ buries the robotic remains(Anna Maria's original body is long dead) and leaves flowers at her grave. However, Doc Ock returns when her new body is ready and decides to keep MJ's identity a secret since she did spare her from being beaten to death by the sinister six. That's about as far as her sympathy will go though. Woman still has a world to conquer after all.
