Okay so this is a pic I drew for for their contest. The rules said they wanted two pokemon one showing willpower.

So the basic story behind mine is that the trainer decided to climb the hill to catch Moltres, but underestimated its strength. So, despite a very high type disadvantage (and I'm sure a level disadvantage), the little Ivysaur continues with the aid of its ability to use protect. Sort of inspired my adventures on Leafgreen version.

So I like the overall effect, and I really love how Ivysaur and the trainer turned out (especially because the trainer was sort of a last minute add in). Moltres, sadly, I feel was a fail. Getting the moves right was a pain. Drawing the fire was cool, but I couldn't figure out how to get the effect for protect because I wanted it to be circular, but not circular....in the end the end I think it turned out well. I'm very proud of the background, especially because backgrounds aren't really my thing.
