Born 27 BBY on Naboo Zon would spend much of his early life and later Clone War in the safety of his family's estate. After the Empire was formed his parent would enroll him into the COMPNOR SA group where he would go on to receive advanced education in medical fields, specifically Bioengineering. Soon he would be recruited into the Imperial Security Bureau.

Working from his research outpost in the outer rim Zon would construct or analyze bio-weapons while also preparing containment protocols and, if possible, cures for their release. Between these official projects Zon would practice his skills by engineering various creatures and plants. While Zon has crafted a number of "super" creatures and deadly monstrosities, his preferred projects mostly revolve around herbivorous social creatures such as the durni. Making them more resistant to diseases and environmental factors and increasing their intelligence. These more peaceful creatures live off site under droid surveillance.

Around 1 ABY Zon would be assigned to the Dathomir quarantine zone to help secure and contain the Blackwing Virus. The first expeditions were resounding failures almost costing Zon his life. That was until he was able to make contact with Doctor Zahara and acquire the anti-virus. While temporary this vastly increased the survivability of his missions to secure canisters of the virus. Further operations would have Zon investigate the prison rescuing some survivors and most importantly information on the Blackwing project. These missions would be both a learning experience and a career advancement.

With contacts met during the Dathomir mission he would help form the Geological Collection Society as a front to collect old military artifacts such as battle droids, vehicles, and armor. The pride of the collection being a small fleet of, mostly damaged, AT-TEs. Other collections of note are a large number of Droideka, several LAATs, two hailfire droids, and schematics for almost every mainline battle droid used by CIS. In general the Society isn't interested in the artifacts of the jedi or sith, but does maintain a limited collection simply for their value and rarity. Opinions on collecting Mandalorian equipment are divided among the members with Zon being firmly anti-mandalorian.

In 4 ABY everything would change after the Battle of Endor. ISB funding would dry up immediately and projects would have to be funded by providing bioengineered crops and animals to anyone who'd pay including criminals, colonists, and wealthy eccentrics. Being a firm believe in the Empire Zon viewed the Imperial Warlords as no better than the rebellion avoiding contact when possible. This isolation would be both a blessing and a curse after one client's wrath would spell the end of Zon's work.

Late 7 ABY Zon would be contracted by a Mandalorian to create a massive and deadly creature for a master hunting event. This beast would be a genetic chimera based on heavily mutated Rancor DNA. It would be his finest work, deadly and with near human intelligence. Unknown to Doctor Zon this creature would be further mutated and augmented by the contractor in an attempt to kill her competition during the hunt. Her plan would ultimately fail as the creature was no match for the other Mandalorian Clan's hunter. While her plot would not be discovered and in fact her contribution was praised for it's challenge she and her clan members would seek retribution. The attack would be swift and absolute, eliminating the defending troops and destroying most of the facilities and labs. Zon would be captured attempting to escape and the surviving facilities would be bombarded by the Clan's Venator.
