CaptainKato [2011-02-01 02:23:01 +0000 UTC]

Do you built the stuff separately, then just move them over the body? :<

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HazardousArts In reply to CaptainKato [2011-02-01 06:11:34 +0000 UTC]

i build it right on top of the body its like previsualisation, I build the character inside 3dsmax,then move all the parts over to zbrush for smaller details etc

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CaptainKato In reply to HazardousArts [2011-02-01 15:49:35 +0000 UTC]

So you like..make the parts out of the body? so they're the same mesh?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HazardousArts In reply to CaptainKato [2011-02-01 16:47:53 +0000 UTC]

it really depends on the part. If i need to make a helmet, i dont make it out of the head, i make a new piece. But if i need to make something close to the body, like a tight stocking thn i may duplicate the mesh from the leg to create it.

CaptainKato In reply to HazardousArts [2011-02-01 16:51:10 +0000 UTC]

Ooooh okay. I see now. How do you make it so that it conforms to perfectly to the body though?

HazardousArts In reply to CaptainKato [2011-02-02 04:31:10 +0000 UTC]

well thats just patients and a careful hand

CaptainKato [2011-01-28 19:41:15 +0000 UTC]

ooohhh this is coming together great!!

So, what all programs do you use when making a model, and have you ever thought about making a video tutorial?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HazardousArts In reply to CaptainKato [2011-01-29 02:42:35 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! I use Max and Zbrush only for all this stuff up to this point. just jumping back and forth here mostly. Ive thought about making tutorials, but i dont think im fit to teach yet. I need to be a much better artist before im worthy to teach.

Looks great. What kind of technique did you use to create those stockings?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HazardousArts In reply to samimarsu [2011-01-25 02:34:48 +0000 UTC]

made a mask of the leg, extracted it and then pushed the mesh in for the holes

Those things at the bottom of the image, that are holding the stockings, i don't know how is it names

AR-X-DESIGNS [2011-01-24 04:09:51 +0000 UTC]

How exactly did you go about making the holes? Any special methodology?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HazardousArts In reply to AR-X-DESIGNS [2011-01-24 05:12:38 +0000 UTC]

not at all, there are no holes, its just the mesh pushed in so that the leg underneath shows up

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

tairow In reply to HazardousArts [2011-01-24 22:11:32 +0000 UTC]
