I did this piece for 1) practicing new techniques in Photoshop a year ago, and 2) a collection of art inspired by the cosmos. This was one of my favorite bits of art to do
The planet textures were fun to work with, and I had fun painting the colorful gases that were present at the beginning of the solar system. And yep, those are my interpretations of Mercury and Venus. More planets in other pictures coming soon!Do not use my artwork without my permission.

Fun with the ellipse tool and textures. One was based after rocks, and the other was based after the fabric of my couch
