Someone on tumblr asked me what kind of relationship Starchaser had with Princess Radiance so I took the chance to finish a quick drawing I had in my folders featuring the two fillies.
Radiance is like the big sister Starchaser never had. Star never met her personally until she was taken to Canterlot, at age of 7, to learn to control her magic outbursts. Radiance volunteered to babysit her during her stay and thatβs when they became friends. Their friendship got stronger over the years, they share many interests and among all of their friends they are the only ones who never argued with each other.

Yep, it's supposed to remind of Cadence's bond with Twilight. Twilight finds the resemblance quite adorable. ;D Yeah, she's working hard to be a ruler that will respect and love her subjects.

Well, it's not going to happen (unless someone writes a story where it does XD), BUT if she were to cheat on Windy she wouldn't get away with it. Windy would be very heartbroken to even face her but Harmony would make sure to give Star a lesson, after all, she threatened her when she and Windy started dating. Saying that she would crush her if she crushed her sister's heart. You can imagine how that would go, not good for Star. ''XD

I guess that Star is only 8 there because she has that ponytail that you drew on her bio, so Radiance is only 10 there?
She looks a bit older

Actually Starchaser is 7 here, she already tied up her mane at that age. And Radiance is 9 in this picture, she looks older because she had a small growth spurt between her 9/10 years. Not to mention that Star is very little for her age so that makes it look like Radiance is much older. xD
