This one has been sitting in my finished art folders for a while and completely forgot it until now.A couple of months ago I looked into my concept of magic wings, unicorn aura and earthly strength in my humanized designs and decided to personalize them more instead of remaining a simple design for all.
Sorry that it's not a really cool illustration and just a concept page...
EDIT: For those wondering about Windy's scar over her wing, she got it after an incident during her teenage years when she tried to save Harmony from falling boulders. You can find the summary of that story here hazurasinner.deviantart.com/ar… .

I just ran across this by chance, these are super cool and a neat concept!
In fact, it's shared by my own species, some are born with the ability to summon/hide their features (wings, horns, tails) at will.
Though with these, do they phase right through their clothing? Extremely important question is extremely important

The summoning of their wings don't require to have the skin exposed, they phase through the clothing and don't compromise the movement.

They are birthmarks. Same goes for the Unicorns/Alicorns any users of magic with the markings on their foreheads.

Nope, she can't fly. It's explained in her bio page that she has terrible fear of heights, therefore she never learned to fly like her older sister.

I think alicorns' wings marks are probably huge, cold cover half their backs.
How large are the ones on Princess Celestia and Luna, even though they have spells to hide them when wearing backless gowns?

You can take example from Windy Belle's wing pattern size and Pandemonium's for the following description. Alicorns' wings stretch slightly down their omoplates and spread wider across their arms. Same goes for other creatures such as adult winged dragons and Changeling royalty.

Yes, that blue triangular shape is supposed to represent one of his horns. It'll be featured and explained in detail on the Magic Aura concept along with other characters with horns.
