Betrayal

     “Vexen!”

     Vexen glanced behind him.  He was in one of the many halls of Castle Oblivion.  He growled slightly at the sight of the pink haired nobody, “Marluxia…”

     “The one and only.  So what are you doing above ground, IV?”

     Vexen slowly turned to face Marluxia, “I have every right to be up here, Marluxia.  And how dare you pull the-”

     “I don’t care, Vexen.”  Marluxia intruded, before walking past Vexen, “Are you ready to join us?”

     “Never!”  Vexen yelled, green eyes glaring at Marluxia.

     Marluxia smirked slightly, returning the glare with blue eyes, “your answer is always no.  How come?”

     “Because I am not a traitor like you are.”  Vexen replied, “I’m loyal to Xemnas.”

     “Hmph.”  Marluxia grabbed Vexen’s chin and leaned in close, “You do know that since the organization started, he kept promising us hearts-but where are they?  Open your eyes Vexen.  Xemnas doesn’t know what he is doing.  That’s why we need a new superior.  Now please, join us.”

     Instead of an answer, Marluxia was met by a shield to his stomach, which knocked him back, “Ugh!”

    “Don’t touch me, XI!”  Vexen ordered.  Marluxia growled, and drew his scythe, “Is it a fight you are looking for, old man?”

     Vexen growled some more before he charged at Marluxia and slashed at him.  The shield was met with the scythe as Marluxia blocked.  They both jumped back, before Marluxia stormed off into one of the bare white rooms leaving Vexen, angry as hell, to follow.  As Vexen ran off into the white room, he just barely put up his shield to block Marluxia’s scythe.

     “Yah!”  Vexen called up ice around him, knocking Marluxia back, then sent the ice after Marluxia.  But Marluxia moved out of the way and slashed at Vexen again.  Vexen held up his shield to block, and looked  up as Marluxia slashed again.  Vexen stepped to the side and watched as Marluxia’s scythe passed by.  Marluxia slashed again, and Vexen flipped over it.

     “You know Vexen…”

     Vexen glanced over at Marluxia, “...?”

     Marluxia smirked, “I do like you.”

     With a third slash, Marluxia’s scythe collided to the shield once again.  Marluxia looked into Vexen’s green eyes as Vexen kicked Marluxia in the stomach, knocking him back.

     “You lie!”

     “I do not Vexen…”  Marluxia smiled at Vexen, “Please…  do you not feel the same?”

     Vexen stepped back, “Marluxia…?”

     Marluxia discalled his scythe and hugged Vexen.  Vexen, shocked, dropped his shield, “M-Marluxia…”

     “I love you Vexen…”

     Vexen twitched, “M-Mar-”

     Vexen’s scream filled the air as a vine Marluxia grew behind Vexen stabbed through his chest, “H-Hnnng…”

     Marluxia smirked, “Your easy, Vexen.  So easy to manipulate and fool…”  Marluxia stepped back and watched as the vines slowly crawled all over the inside of Vexen’s body, tearing his insides apart.  Vexen’s green eyes dulled, before they closed.  Marluxia slowly turned around and left the room.  Leaving Vexen’s wounded body to fade away into nothingness.
