i don't do fanart. ever. like seriously. but i love thedesign of these charas... and i guess i am just a sucker
for an aussie accent :] vanille was really annoying at first,
but i think she settled into the voice octave after a while.
she sounds abit more natural further in xD and i liked fang
right off. she's got such a simple but really pretty design :]
[on the other hand...light. i expect that if they ever redid
ff7's graphics, the cross dressing cloud would look a lot like
her when he steps out of the dressing room, don't you
think? XDD]
BUT YEAH....i was drawing them while watching my
fiance play the game, so the outfits might be a bit off. the
ui in that game is soo clunky... it kept getting in the way of
the charas
like teh chara would finally turn the way i wanted and then the camera would move so they
were covered in menus :[
game is okay so far, but it's just another FF7/FF8.. as in
the game itself is sort of bad/boring but the characters are
potentially really good.
anyway, yeah, this should really be in scraps... i didn't
even draw their weaps right lmao... [i erased vanille's in
photoshop cos it was so horrifying lmao.] but i had fun
throwing some colours on it in photoshop, so yeah...
will keep it in the main gallery i guess

Lol yeah, that is a habit I have since broke, for the most part. I mean, sometimes I still draw the faces too long, but I fix it now that I know about it xD

haha It seems like Vivi from FFIX is the only one I ever see doing magic in fanart. The rest of the characters just seem to stand around and look pretty/do battle poses (though FF weapons are pretty distinct so I guess people generally have more fun drawing those than magic--unless it's Vanille and her weird-a** fishing pole).

It had a lot of potential but I just
felt like the story never really got
started. I was expecting some big plot
to drop in all the way up til I was
fighting the last boss... I think
the last 30 mins of the game were
were the story seemed to try and
pick up but by then it was just
too late
I still adore the character designs
tho. FF never fails to make some really
awesome looking charas :> Which is why

That's because Lightning was 1. Meant to be a male version of Cloud and 2. Supposed to be less feminine so people would take her more seriously, I guess.

and Sahz. J[my fiance] went nuts upgrading
Light's weap [the gladius] really early on,
so it was maxed out really early on. She'd
be hitting for 9k normal and 20-80k during
stagger, depending on how buffed she was XD
So normally the fights would just be...Sahz as
the buffer, Van as the Debuffer, and Light
just decimating everyone xDD It was great
to watch her take out pesky fast hitting
mobs with only two blitz attacks xD

he needed a Sentinel for a fight. He had like
11k HP when the next closest person had 7k

light/van xDD;;; Snow is a crazy awesome
Sentinel xD Just taunt and mediguard and
let Light rape everything lmao.
I forget what the last boss for chapter 12
was... if it's the one that has the diff modes,
like air mode and ground modes, i think in one
of the two, you could just go all out, and then
the other use healing a bit. But it's best to buff
and debuff xD [which is why we always had sahz and
van in party]. I don't really remember if that's the
right boss tho >>

Proudclad, I just beat him yesterday.
He wasn't as hard after some grinding and changing teams.
I had Lightning, Sazh, and Hope.
Lightning was a sentinel, while Sazh buffed, and Hope healed.
Or I had them both buff while Lightning healed.
Then kicked his as with relentless attack, then used diversity for a few minutes to kick it's ass and get healed.XD

Sqeenix makes memorable characters, just not so good stories.... or games.... or well, let's just be honest here. These days, all they got going for them are the graphics.

dang this came out really dark or maybe it's cuz I'm on the lap top. D: I love it though. xD It's hard to say who my favorite is, but I love Fang and Vanille, especially Fang cuz she's so bad assed. 8D I like Lightning a lot, too even after she shows her softer side, she is so cute. xD I have been using all 3 girls in my party lately for these geh missions, even though I like the guys, too. Even annoying ass Hope grew on me. xD Blah didn't mean for this to turn into a ramble. 8D

loathe the game for never really kicking into
a real story :\ but the charas have potential.
They just seem sorta like blank slates to me
during most of the game cos they don't get
developed a whole lot.
