thank you...im inordinately fond of that weird orange glow that you get of off the clouds in big cities, and i was so happy to get these shots from above the clouds, which really has the most amazing colors.

im not sure what you mean by freehand...the main picture is a plant on the lake, and then i added texture from a macro shot of a rock, and overlaid a shot taken from the plane while flying over a cloudy san francisco...the colors are reflections of the city lights off of the clouds.

Thats incredible. It flows so well together I could have sworn it was a painting. I love it even more knowing that their are layers of complete thoughts (photos and layers) making up the whole. I wish I had your ability to compose such balance in my own work. *highly envious*
