very unique discovery, i wonder what causes the tree that way...
is it because of the sun-zone? just like sun-flower probably, haha.
i'm not good with science.

there's a tall building right next to it, so I think it was just not getting any sun on that side. its quite bizarre.

ah, sorry, i seem to take a lot of pictures of concrete to use as overlay textures, its not actually concrete on the photo.

It matters not in the slightest that
it is a "manipulation"....

The final, beautiful product is everything!

Usually there is a house in the missing part of the trees...

hclay In reply to FiLH [2007-05-07 18:42:29 +0000 UTC]

i know, its bizarre. theres a building off to the left, but it isnt close enough to do this.

Strange... maybe they destroyed the house

hclay In reply to FiLH [2007-05-08 03:51:11 +0000 UTC]

im not sure...this is on the university of washington campus, and i know theres been some construction...somewhere around there. so its possible.

this is one of those things that i pass by on the bus every day on my way to work, but somehow never really noticed until i had the camera in my hand.

We all know which way the wind blows...

Love the smooth curve of the ground, and the way the trees stand on it and in it. Such a wonderful composition *
