OK before you say anything I know I already have a whole mountain of OCs, many of whom I don't use as much as I should, but these guys' story is actually one I plan on telling relatively soon-ish so I figured I should introduce them.
Also I needed to finalize their designs and decided it was time to finally cross that off my to-do list, which is long enough already.

So! Since Infinite Frontier launched earlier this year, I have found myself sucked into the DC fandom with no hope of ever escaping. And I can safely say that the Bat-family has captured my whole heart. Or, more specifically, Nightwing and Red Hood have. They are 100% my two favorites! (Nightwing is my #1 fave though)

And, as usual, whenever I get into a new fandom, I must make OCs.

These two were created after I read Three Jokers. I landed on one scene in particular (not saying what because it might spoil part of their story!), and these two basically demanded to be created, and who am I to deny them?
I don't wanna reveal too much about their stories just yet, since I don't want to spill too many spoilers.
However, I will give you the basics!
On the left are their vigilante uniforms, and on the right are their typical civilian outfits.
Their playlists are on Spotify, so you might need an account to listen to them, but I figured this was easier than trying to find the links to each individual song, and this way I can update them there without having to update stuff here.

Redwing
Name: Case James Grayson
Parents: Barbara Gordon (Batgirl/Oracle) and Dick Grayson (Nightwing)*
Age during story: 16-18
Hair: red (the white streak doesn't come until later in the story)
Eyes: green
Height: 5' 10"
Abilities: very athletic, computer genius, can and will deck you
Gear: electrified escrima sticks, blades, smoke grenades, assorted other vigilante gear
Personality: assertive, stubborn, courageous, observant, caring, protective. He doesn't like being told what to do, or being told that he can't do something, but he is willing to listen to someone he respects. His trust is earned, not given. He will never leave something half finished. He is tenacious but not obsessive, rough around the edges but truly caring about his family and close friends, and loyal to the end, however bitter it might be.

Extra:
- yes, he's a Walker! His number is #83216, like me, because I didn't want to accidentally steal someone else's number.
- he typically dresses in dark or neutral colors, and sometimes he'll throw in something Walker-related for flavor (such as a hoodie or a mask).
- gets along great with his Uncle Jason (AKA Red Hood).
- will hurt anyone who tries to mess with his sister.
- tries not to start fights, but will 100% finish them. You'd be a heavy underdog in a one-on-one fight against him. Jason might've given him some coaching, so he has some mean tricks up his sleeve.
- simultaneously hates the guts of and is absolutely terrified of the Joker. It's a long (and perhaps traumatizing) story that is probably best saved for another time.

You may notice that I put a * next to his dad's name. That will be explained in their story! (though it wouldn't surprise me if some of you can guess the twist already, just based on his design and some of the tidbits of info I've provided above. I don't know how subtle it really is).

Nightbird
Name: Kaven Luciana Grayson
Parents: Barbara Gordon (Batgirl/Oracle) and Dick Grayson (Nightwing)
Age during story: 14-16
Hair: black
Eyes: blue
Height: 5' 6"
Abilities: excellent acrobat, computer genius, always has a quippy comeback
Gear: electrified escrima sticks, the usual vigilante essentials
Personality: witty, compassionate, intuitive, empathetic, optimistic, selfless. A certified Ray of Sunshine. She can chatter up a storm with anyone, about anything, and will do everything she can to make them feel comfortable around her. She enjoys mischief perhaps a touch too much, so be careful turning your back on her on a slow patrol night.

- according to behindthename.com , "Kaven" is a Romani name that means courage, brave, strong, and/or kind.
- her middle name comes from a character from The Lost Carnival: A Dick Grayson Graphic Novel. This is a DC Graphic Novel for Young Adults publication, so it's not part of the main comics continuity, but I really loved it and needed to include a nod to it somehow! I definitely recommend reading it if you're a Dick Grayson fan like myself.
- prefers wearing bright colors and simple outfits, and will avoid dresses and skirts if she can help it.
- she is an insane gymnsat and acrobat, and will take any excuse to get her feet off the ground and fly.
- loathes Talons with a passion that dwarfs that of the rest of the Bat-family combined. This'll also be explained in the story.
- I tried to give her slightly darker skin as a nod to her dad's Romani heritage, but I don't know how well it shows up in this image. Just take my word for it.

Case is kind of more of the main character of this story than Kaven, but they will both have major roles to play and individual stories to explore! I'm eager to get started. Hopefully, I'll have something written for them soon!
