Description Oh, it was a good day in photo-ville, as I walked down the Old Dam Road by the 'rents house this afternoon. The sun was beating in through the canopy of trees overhead, and the spectrum of colours gave the path an ethereal, almost fantasy-world glow. This is just the first of many good piccys I got from my lil' jaunt. This one was taken just a lil' ways down from the river, a simple shot of the colours that, thankfully, unlike last year, are vibrant and pure.

This is spectacular. We get some gold, here, and a little red, but it doesn't last long. The rains come, and then the winds, the the leaves are gone.

Well, that was the story LAST year...there was hardly any colour to speak of, and what colour there WAS just got rained and winded away. But this year, we got what we missed out on, and I could not be happier. We get mostly gold around my parent's, but this year we were truly blessed.
