To escape this "Emo Art Block" of mine, I thought it would do me good to try to draw something else. I then remembered a certain video game character who is awesome and I really wanted to draw.

That character is Zero.

First study of Zero was a simple front view. I might do a side view or a weapons study later.

I also tried some difference in the coloring style, since it was too purple before. Now I used a highlight color and shaded with more similar colors.

I tried, but I couldn't mimic that extremely badass, yet slightly cutesy official style. I'll keep trying, though.

Zero's MMZ design is my favorite. Your opinion may vary, so I'd like to ask which design you like more. The MMX one or the MMZ one? Just curious.
