One day I was having a very bad case of art block, so I decided to ask my good friend *SHADOWPRIME if he had a piece of uncolored linework for me to go around the art block (I can't draw with an art block, but it doesn't prevent me from coloring. Lol, loophole abuse.) and flex my artistic muscles. He had this kickass lineart of Sonic just laying around and sent it to me.

As a quick aside, it turns out that that red thing was supposed to be a quill. SP borrowed that extra quill from the Fleetway comics' style. As all I had was the lines, I had no idea and assumed it was part of what Sonic was holding. SP didn't remember what Sonic was supposed to be holding when I asked him anyway... I just assumed Sonic was holding an armor plate from what was once one of Eggman's mechs and went with it.

Sometimes I even surprise myself. I knew I was less bad at coloring than everything else, but damn! That's one awesome coloring, if I may say so. I may be unable to draw shit, but at least I'm a decent colorist.
