Posting up a pretty rough page today! Still, I like how it's coming out.
Thanks for all the nice comments on the previous page. While I don't mind that some people come to me exclusively for bondage and kink art, I think at my heart of hearts (heh) I really want to tell good stories too. It makes me happy to know that some people are here for that as well!
I think, going forward I'll be experimenting with more screentones. I also think that at least one chapter is going to be BW tones instead of colors (and I know just when I'm gonna do it). Color has been great, vibrant, fun, delicious even! But screentones can be rich, economical, sensitive, and focused. Each have their advantages, and I look forward to diving into both!
I also have numerous thoughts, lessons learned, and reflections on how this first world went and I'm hoping the next world I can apply those lessons to tell even better stories.
On a side note, I'm noticing Shakti's face in that first panel... looks a little like she has a lizard pupil! It's because of where her hair is falling. If art wins, note to self, be sure to fix that ^^ although if it gets colored it won't be a problem.

Well I rarely comment and rarely vote, but I do read every page you put out.
For me, I like both. I like the bondage, I like the story (like all of your other stories as well). I also really like how its done from the perspective of the Damsel. I'm also pretty happy with the way people have been voting so far. Getting a good story across can be done with one level of detail, since a story is primarily text. Getting a good bondage scene drawn takes a higher level of detail, which people often vote in a way that it gets drawn over a couple of days.

- Again deviantart isn't really a place where you directly come for things that are specifically story based. That's more a fanfiction.net sort of thing as people are more interested in visuals, specifically kink visuals hence the name, and you do kind of have to lead with that and then once you've got fans of your art you'll have more leeway for stories. At least that's how I feel it works and quite honestly at this point I'm honestly much more interested in the actual plot and the character stuff then the straight bondage. As honestly... you can find a lot of basic seedy bondage very easily on the site but actually interesting unique stories are much harder to come by which is why I really congraulate you for crafting one here.
And yeah we have Shakti bringing up what happened with Finn likely to point out to Heart you can't just give up on your ideals if you feel strongly for a cause even if it may lead to trouble. And you know to stick it to Shroedinger who was selfishly trying to cut out while Heart clearly isn't. She stepped up against the Nite Bears to earn their trust and kept her promise despite the difficulty and yeah did it as she felt that was right to do so glad to see Heart is going to end this in a funk or anything. These would be interesting things to play up in a sequel to this story which yeah I still really want to happen but this is still good regardless.

Well... ultimately, it comes down to 'he who hesitates is lost', doesn't it?
If you keep waffling on a decision, because you're afraid it might be the wrong one, then it'll never be made... or worse, it'll be made FOR you, and you'll have started to lose control over your life.
You do what you feel is right, and if something happens that changes your perspective, you continue to move forward, and learn from the decisions made in the past.
There's no real... logical... answer here, as there are merits and negatives for both sides.
In the end... I guess it's whatever allows you to look at yourself in the mirror every morning.

This part of the story is only going to go on about two more pages and then probably pop for a couple of pages to transistion into the next world which is likely where the next major bondage will happen though even if these worlds are more streamlined now it will still probably take a bit of plot (because yeah these actually are bondage tales with plot in them) to get to that so... probably around 10 or so pages till any more major bondage so probably like a month or so I'd imagine.

I've really loved all the trials heart has encountered and how they have changed her as a character.

I agree with Having each world with its own style would be a really cool touch! But I don't know how hard that would be to pull off, so whatever's cool with you is cool to me.

I'm sure it would probably be a bit of a stretch, but I think it would be kind of an interesting development if each chapter or 'world' that Heart finds herself in has it's own individual artistic characteristics. The hard borderlines here, the BW tones in another, maybe a slightly different drawn style for another, etc. Just to kind of slide each one into almost their own stand alone feel, even though they'll all inevitably come together into a wonderful finale.
