There had been many times as I played through FF games and during fights against these mimics where I pictured the combatants suffering the same fate as Aqua.Β An absolutely splendid page showing how she got captured and reduced to a damsel.Β Nice work!

Question is: can the Mimic keep the Person inside alive?
Never heard of a Mimic in any Fantasy Universe that "digests" it's Victims.
So are they Traps to suffocate a Victim? Or simply a Prison, to punish the "greedy" ?
We could tickle the Mimic from all Sides so it has no Choice but to release her

Then you've not been looking very hard; most mimics digest their victims. The whole point of disguising themselves as items people are likely to investigate is that it allows them to ambush food sources.

I actually searched for Mimic Fantasy once for a few Hours,
and i never found Mimic's "digesting" People 
it makes them more frightening and scary
