Video game screenshot from Jurassic World Evolution.The Edmontosaurus lived in the Late Cretaceous Period 84-66 million years ago. It was an herbivore over nine feet tall and estimated to weigh over three tons. The Edmontosaurus is believed to have been a herd animal to protect itself by sheer numbers from the largest predator of its time, Tyrannosaurus Rex. Edmontosaurus was discovered in Southern Alberta and named after its capital city of Edmonton.
