My friend Margi...she's another raw foodist and a fantastic person. I'm going to focus most of my new work on compositions similar to this, even though painting the fabric makes me insane sometimes!

heather, i am glad to hear you say that painting fabric drives you crazy sometimes... i was really hoping that was the case... i mean you do it so well, but honestly...

I really, intensely enjoy all of your work. You have a specific, classic style that never gets old. Also, your use of light and attention to detail are phenomenal. Nice control and subtleness in the blending.

really amazing, I understand your frustration with painting fabrics with fidelity, but the outcome is too amazing to discount the process, well pruned trees bear bigger fruit, You've got Fruits aplenty.

another excellent painting. I dont know why fabric would make you go insane, its the human figure, especially the face is the hard stuff. You never seem to have a problem with that though.

terrific work! your technique and use of colour are really so smooth and modern and definitely unique.. well i can not be the one to criticize your work but there is no doubt that this shading, lightning and the perspective is perfect..
