Marsupials! Aren't they amazing!? Yes. Yes they are.
The thylacine is my favourite, but due to dick-wad humans they are now extinct. Congrats people! Another mark on the tally chart!
I like both the thylacines here and the colours on the gouache kangaroo are nice. But that's down to the paint, not me.
The koala is staring into your soul! You cannot escape it's gaze! They will enslave all humanity with the cute! Flee while you can!

This series of sketchbook pages were created for a college project where I chose to design a poster for London's Natural History Museum. I decided to draw out some of my favourite exhibits from each of the museum's zones as research, but I think I got a little carried away!
The images in these pages are not meant to be realistic. It was an excercise in trying out different styles, anatomy and media (just had to say that incase you thought I failed at realism. Well, I kinda do... but that's not the point!).

Awesome, really love the face of the Koala looks very cute. The Thylacine is amazing one scary creature, not sure I want one for a pet. I'll stick to Tyrannosaurs

yeah i see what you mean, yikes who drew that one for scale, they where larger than a rex but not that much larger..
never mind though Rex still rules, I wanted an extinct animal for a pet , have to be a Raptor..lol no one would try to break in.

The gouache watercolours are fantastic, I love the kangaroo especially... and your sketches are LOVE. That lil' wombat face is just killing me, I want to snuggle him forever. And dat koala. D'AWWWW.

Aww, but it's so amazing! They could open their jaws unusually wide. Watch a video of one in captivity and you can see him yawning!
