Description If I had to pick a favourite character from Pokemon Sun and Moon, it'd have to be Kiawe.  His trial was hilarious as fuck, and though I'm not crazy about the new Sun and Moon anime, he had some of the most hilarious scenes (i.e. blowing up at Ash and chasing him to oraora his ass because he misplaced the Electrium Z).  XD it's a shame he's not a challenger in the Elite 4.  

I also really liked that little story he had in Sun where even though he's a good trainer, that doesn't mean it pays the bills, which is a rather grim reality in the Pokemon world.  The poor boyo is even fired from his job.  ;w;

He's barefoot mainly because I felt quite proud with how his feet turned out, and I didn't want to ruin them with shoes.  >w>;; let's just say he's finished practicing and is just taking a break.  ;D

Man, does Kiawe look great! He may not be my favourite character in Pokemon Sun and Moon, but his trial is hands down my favourite trial.

That photobombing hiker was priceless. After Kiawe's "Come my fine hiker!" The hiker just goes "Alola!" His entire trial is beautifully hilarious.

It was indeed a beautiful line. "A strapping young Swimmer, perhaps?" I wonder why she says that. Maybe there's a male swimmer she likes?

Yup, first it was a normal pose change, then the hiker photobombed, and finally the Totem Pokemon, Salazzle decides to photobomb as well.

also yeah I think Kiawe's trail was so much wtf is going on, tho yeah I think Sun/Moon does have some pretty grim reality moments like the Eevee side quest was just depressing, especially the Sylveon trainer. 8(

also I can agree with your statement about him not being 12, considering most trail captains usually quit at the age of 19 years old.

First the photobombing Hiker then how every option was Totem Salazzle.  XD what made it funnier was Kiawe being all, "B-But how--?!" when you get them correct, like dude, it's kinda obvious. XD

Ah man, that Eevee side quest was really depressing.   I felt the Jolteon and Umbreon trainers were the saddest, but Sylveon was pretty sad, too.  Also noticed how the Stufful was no longer in that motel, too.  QuQ

I thought the age of trial captain retirement was 20? owo either way, also considering how Kiawe wants to go abroad to study (which would mean he'd have to give his position as trial captain regardless if he was 19-20 or not), it definitely does seem he's older.

oh boy the Umbreon trainer. yeah, also there's one where a women was a gravestone with a machamp that belong to her husband and Machamp was crying. ;; aww, that's really sad.

oh wait, nevermind I read the age wrong - I thought it was 19, but yeah I would assume he is about 15 or 16. Ah right, the only one I can say is 12 with certainty is Sophocles.

We even talk to the dude about death...;w; yeah, the poor Machamp.   and he even threw his Pokeball away, too.  Also makes me remember in X/Y when you go to Anistar City and talk to that old man and lend him a Pokemon then he's gone after a few days with just a letter and the ball containing your Pokemon in it remaining.  QuQ 

Yeah, Sophocles looks about that age range.  It's also interesting how he's the only Trial Captain to challenge your position as Champion, too.  OwO would've been nice if all the other Trial Captains could've done that.  ;w;

oh god, I had to actually check about the Anistar City one and that's really sad. ;; death in a pokemon game always seem to work somehow.

oh yeah, he actually does that; well unless you count Acerola since she was only taking over for Nanu for that time and Molayne was mention to be a former Trail Captain but I'm not sure if those 2 count. I would of love to get a challenge from Ilima.

I honestly didn't expect it when I first played in X.  I gave him like a Lvl 5 Fletchling because I thought I'm legitimately giving away a Pokemon, then I was shocked when I came back and it was empty.  ;w; so in Y, I gave the old guy one of my team Pokemon (my Manectric).  TTwTT

True.  XD I find it funny how Nanu just flat out refuses to join the Elite 4 just because he's all like, "It's too much of a hassle and you can't tell me what to do."  Yeah, that's true but since Acerola's already in the Elite 4, that makes her default to challenging the position of Champion along with Hala, Olivia and Kahili.  Yeah, it's a shame Ilima doesn't challenge you as well - I'd have thought he'd be all for wanting to aim to be the Alolan Champion.  ;w;
