Description Well, that was unusual. Whereas usually a picture of this magnitude takes me at least a week to complete, this time I managed to complete one in a single day. It was quite an intensive day, though. The quick progress is partially the result of the high use of photographic textures - they covered up most of the inaccuracies and mistakes, so I got satisfied about the look of the picture quite quickly. There's still stuff I might've improved, but this also seems like the kind of picture that can be left a bit sketchier than usual. The coloring style is somewhat different from what I've used lately, so comments about that are appreciated.

I like the mechanical feel those cranes and ropes have given to the picture. I also like how the water is made and how the ocean and the foggy sky blend together, making the horizon seem invisible.

I would've made the fisherman look more surprised, considering the unusual catch he's got. But maybe he's already seen everything in his life. ;D

Nice work, overall.

Thank you very much for the comment and the fav! I'm glad you like the coloring, because it's almost as grey and flat as it gets. Fantasy should be able to thrive even in the smelly and mechanical environment of a fishing boat.
