Description
Another pyramid catches Fox and Krystal's interest as they explore to find two cat statues on the floor. As they look to examine them, they hear a voice say, "I see you have found them." When Fox and Krystal turn around, they see an all too familiar being approach them.

Fox: Bast. It's been a while since we've seen you.

Bast: How true. Anubis and I have been quite busy lately.

Krystal: Can you tell us about these statues?

Bast: Yes, I can. These statues are Guardian states made to serve as protectors for whoever ruled this pyramid at the time. But as you can see they are all that's left of the pyramid.

Fox: I'm surprised these haven't been taken by scavengers yet. Why is that?

Bast: (Smiling) That's because they are blessed with an ancient spell that would make them impossible to lift. Not even your huge friend would be able to lift them under this spell.

Krystal: Sounds like a very powerful enchantment. Can it be lifted?

Bast: That's why I'm here. I can lift the spell so that you can take the Guardians. They should be preserved in a place where they can still serve as protectors.

Fox: Thank you, Bast. The Artifact Room back at the base would ideal for them.

Bast: If that's where you have kept the Ark the Anubis led you to, it would be best to place them in front of it.

Krystal: It would look like a small exhibit there.

Bast: And I believe you also have a table that would be used to communicate with the Spirit World?

Fox: That sounds like the Ouija Table Krystal found at one time.

Bast: Place that table between the Guardians. Perhaps one day someone from the Spirit World would want to communicate with you.

Krystal: What do you mean?

Bast: You'll find out when the time comes. Until then, farewell.

As Bast disappears, An aura surrounded the cat statues. Remembering what Bast said, Fox and Krystal then approached the statues and can see they are easily lifted. Of course, they're still confused about Bast's mention of the Spirit World. They will find out eventually.
