A very, very old fandom and ship of mine
Will you believe that it's been ten years since I was introduced to Inuyasha for the first time? Yeah, I iz old.anyway, I drew these two, because I stumbled across a dramaCD on tumblr, in which Sesshomaru ponders how to go about asking Rin if she wants to be his, after which he for some mad reason asks Jaken for advice (and almost kills him
) In the end he confesses his own emotions (too fast for anyone to actually hear) and she is all bashful
It's a tricky ship, this, but it makes sense because Sesshomaru is a demon and canonically promises to wait for Rin, so in my mind there really isn't any loli involved in the shipping. In my picture she's a young woman, still in love with flowers, and through them trying to tell her stoic lord how she feels.

Yes, I agree. To me it seems the next natural step for Rin's admiration for her lord to evolve to true love. For Sesshy, I don't think he will love her like that until she is (obviously) quite a bit older. It seems to me that no one else would occupy that place in his heart, and that when it does happen, it will be completely unexpected for him. He views her as a guardian would, but I think it will be a long time before that changes. Beautiful work. Thanks for posting.

I agree completely, I like the idea that he wouldn't see it coming, but would end up falling in love with her when she was grown. Rin i think has been in love with him since she met him

I agree with you about them. Love this couple. I ship them, too.
Your picture has an incredible light and magnificent atmosphere. Sesshomaru's features look a lot more feral than in the anime and his hands look a little intimidating, but his gesture is gentle, thas a powerful combination. I think perhaps his torso and abdo should be a little longer regarding the distance to his legs.
