*Guffaws* I swear this was supposed to be Thorin retained and led before the Elvenking for intense questioning, but looking at it now it just looks like Legolas introducing the boyfriend to his less-than-approving father! *hides*
ah well, if it can redeem me, I did honestly draw this as Thorin, this is how I see him, though I will admit I already have a huge crush on the guy playing him in the upcoming movie - he just looks so badass!
I'm pretty psyched about Lee Pace as Thranduil too though, he's very attractive*.* I needed me some proper, flamboyant flowery/leafy crown though, so here is my idea of Thranduil, the epic Elvenking

Well, the diference is that you have a very clear picture of them,. hvaing also read Silmarillion and so on, which I don't. So even if I thought that how I played them was how they should be played, you would most like (95% chance)be disappointed. And so it is better for you to play them, as I don't have a clear picture of them and thus won't get disappointed xD

I see your point, but people like Eomer, Theoden, Eowyn, Faramir, Arwen and other lotr-people don't appear in Silmarilion, so there is really only the trilogy to go for - the only people who are mentioned in silmarilion are Elrond, Galadriel, Celeborn and Glorfindel, more or less - all the current humans and most of the lotr-elves didn't exist or aren't mentioned outside of the Hobbit, or the trilogy, so really we have an equal chance of success in playing them
