I pushed back against the pillows until I was firmly planted in an upright position, with legs comfortably stretched out and ankles crossed, and I nodded.Seldom did I see my feet in black socks. I knew almost nothing personally about my feet. they looked rather small for the twenty-first century. Bad luck. But six feet was still a good height.

This quote is evidence of how scatter-brained and out of it he is in that book - I mean, who aren't familiar with their own feet? - and WHY does he suddenly realize this in the middle of the narrative?!
- but goodness does it make me laugh when I read it!
(oh and that bed is not his - it belonged to an old Lady
not that I would put it past him to own a bed that looked like that, honestly
)What is it they say about men and the size of their feet..?

Yeah...i dont pay much attention to them unless clipping my toenails, or rarely getting it painted...but since Lestat is a guy, I can see why he doesn't pay attention to it. lol

and yeah, there is nothing more strange than dreams, really. which in turn means that no matter how odd your dreams are, you aren't necessarily going mad

Hmm, I had one where I was climbing a flight of stairs and being followed, but was unable to turn and see who was following, then I would trip and just before I could hear the steps reach me, I'd wake up

A lot of people have this kind of dream, being followed, but unable to see who the follower is O.O I've never had a dream like that. O.O Gladly.
I used to have dreams about my class in Battle Royal. With my French class too.
The other one happened just twice, it's when I find my mum's dead body and under it a madman is hidden and when I look in his eyes, I see my eyes and I know that he's not he, but me and that insanity in his eyes are from me, because all of this come from me and it's something that I should never challenge and wake because it would have terrible consequences. O.O Well, it must had a really big effect on me cause that day, when I dreamed it, I had a feeling of being watched from everywhere and followed. Never mind, it really is nothing more but madness
