I thoroughly enjoyed Kkat's epic "Fallout: Equestria" fanfic. It seemed like the dumbest crossover idea, but it wound up being done exceedingly well. It impressed me so much.

And so, I am crafting my own side fic. I think Rainbow Dash mentioned a place called "Las Pegasus" in one of the MLP:FiM episodes. I am making that the setting, and just going nuts with my own personal vision of it (in wasteland terms).

Fallout: Las Pegasus

I'm doing it in a scribbly, rough-looking style, mainly for speed. It will help deliver a darker feel to it all as well. The font is currently Gothic, but I am still considering it. Manual writing would be far too time-consuming (because mine sucks so bad). Gothic seems pretty disjointed from the drawing aspects of it, but will mostly just be used for the past-tense first person narration. It also feels as if it's being read off a terminal. In Fallout style, that's not necessarily a bad thing... I'm just not certain if it's a good thing yet.

Oh well, the idea is to make it a speed work. Although so far this first page took forever to draw. I like it, for the most part. Bluster (the pegasus) is a bit lighter than she maybe ought to be, but it works that she stands out just a little bit.
