..................OMFGITISDONE.Okay, yeah. I worked for DAYS on this pic. x.x Yes, days. So now, I am going to chatter about this, and don't you skip over my rambling!
Yes, the pose IS copied. From a Revolutionary Girl Utena movie pic. But instead of two girls, I made it two guys.
And, yes, sometimes I DO copy art for poses. Ha ha ha.Anyway, yes. Shounen-ai and on the verge of yaoi.
Those are TWO GUYS. And the one on the ground has, uh, pretty girly legz because, yeah. I copied from a girl. And it looks pretty shoujo-y.As to who the guys are? Manta Oyamada (blond) and Yoh Asakura (burnette) from Shaman King. Only from my doujin where, uh, everyone is older... COTSK = Coming of the Second King. x.x
So, yeah. Mantou... MantaxYoh. Only drawn really shoujo and weird. x.x YOH HAS GIRLY LEGS AND NO PANTS HA HA HA.
Everything done completely on the coputer, including the line-art. Yes, hooray for tablet. And Adobe photoshop. And fun effects. I heart the border. :3
I'll bet, like, half of you did not read this and missed everything I wrote completely.
So, yei. Probably one of my last pieces of art I'll be submitting to dA. Thanks for 11,000+ hits!

ah, sou. Like I said in the very long description... this is from my... uh, AU thingie (oh, yes, I have a great way with words) where Yoh and Manta and everyone else in Mankin are older and in high school, more or less. It was an excuse to give the cast pretty make-vers. T_T
In any case... Everyone looks different. Manta grew taller, Horo got really tall. Ren stayed the same 8D but his tongari fell to the side. People got longer or shorter hair. Stuff like that. (if you would like to see yoh/manta/horo/and ren, there's a pic of them in the scraps section. but it's really awful. And there is also a pic of horo's design here in the regular gallery. but most of my COTSK art has been taken down).

Nitpick alert! Manta doesn't really look like Manta, I'm sorry to say. (I know, it's copied from two tall girls.) I didn't know it was Manta until you told me! That's the only problem I have, the rest is great!

The funny part is, My friend even drew Me in chibi form, just so I was around the same size as him. Hey CTR, it's rikki. I FINALLY JOINED THIS THANG.
This is an awesome piece, and I hadn't seen it before so I got all excited (even though you apparently drew it way back in April). You did an excellent job on the pose; I often use poses from existing art, too. It's fun to put your own spin on that stuff. Anyway, the proportions and everything are fantastic in this, and Yoh's face is adorable. And the hair, and shading, and ... oh, you ALWAYS colored so well, it makes me envious. Really beautiful piece.

Another CTR piece I'm absolutely in love with! I think it's cool that you used the picture from Utena as a template, because it gives it a parody sense.. Considering that the relationship between Manta and Yoh is similar to the relationship between Utena and Anshi.. And.. I mean.. Yoh's legs.. never looked better...
