i'm sorta new to this hobby, and i was wondering: is cheaper to buy a body in it's whole or to buy parts and put it together?

it really depends on where you want to get the head/body from! for example, if you wanted a volks doll, buying a head from volks and a body from a different company would be cheaper. but if you wanted a head/body combination from the same company, chances are it'd cost you about the same as if you'd just ordered the whole doll. I am actually working on making my own dolls via a 3D printing method. Oh and speaking of which, I make custom Doll accessories if you are interested. If not just know that I think your doll is really cool and ignore below...
So far I have made sailor moon wands for a 1/4 scale doll, World of war craft items, swords, shoes, eyes, instruments, and well lots of stuff. If your curious check out my deviation showing the process. [link]
