it was called Walpole Island at the time, but after Katy & Captain Bill purchased it they renamed it "L'île de Neráida"
then they built the new ORCA headquarters and Leventis Clan Grottoes there

"Neráida" is the name of the little orphan mermaid that stole Katy's Pappoús heart, and She is why Katy becomes a mermaid ~ Katy also named her firstborn daughter "Neráida" in honor of the little mermaid.
