TMC 06 - dramatic lighting
dramatic lighting is my favourite thing to paint, so i was pretty excited for this one. Today i painted NobleSir and LilaRabbit 's character Hide. Also sorry if it's a bit off model, I drew the sketch first and then picked an OC afterwards, so hopefully its not too different ^^
Im such a slut of characters with stars, i have a very similar painting from a few years ago who had star hair in a similar fashion. Also Photoshop has been shitting itself so this was painted 100% in Krita, so i can totally vouch for krita being a great free alternative to photoshop, if you can survive the learning curve.

i love the glitter effect, and how it looks kind of sketch-like! the light point really highlights the blue in the eyes,, makes them stand out from the bluescaleΒ background. the beak looks really 3D too,, :0

Sorry for the late comment! This is super cool! I love it! He looks beautiful! The highlights in his eyes make him look so hopeful and I love it =3 The choice to make his stars actual light sources makes me so happy, it adds to the drama, and legit makes me super happy. I wanna pet him he looks so soft, like the plant lambs ear, smooth but soft. You nailed his ear shape, thank you so much!
