The needle rifle is just a covvie DMR, not sniper.

They are considered sniper weapons because you can get head shots with it once the shields are down.

DMR, Focus Rifle, Needle Rifle, and Sniper Rifle are all Marksman weapons.

They replaced the Needle Rifle in Reach to the Carbine since that weapon comes back in Halo 4.

So yes all those weapons on Reach are sniper weapons. I like the Needle Rifle and the Carbine

I like the SRS-99 and Reach DMR as my marksman weapons.
I like the newer BR, but the DMR is better at accuracy, because the BR shots do not all go the same way.

I like Covenant weapons more cause I like to shoot faster not slower. I like UNSC weapons only a few I don't like however. DMR and Assault Rifle are one of them.

Which AR? MA37? You might like the MA5B, it is easier to shoot single bullets, and is very accurate, it's my second fav weapon.
