Net tot hier, tussen mense
Wat sal hy doen, elke dag
Sonder vlerke, sonder 'n doel
Weg uit die lig van die hemel
Hier in die deurmekaar, teenstrydige wΓͺreld
Waar die son elke oggend opkom
Vir die wat bang is vir die donker
En elke nag ondergaan
Vir die wat skaam is vir die lig
Weet hy waarheen hy oppad is?
Met bene wat vir die eerste keer moet loop
Deur die vullis en stof wat ons opgaar
Kan hy nog liefde uitstraal
Aan die om hom
Hulle oΓ« laat oopgaan
Hulle siele laat verstaan
Of is dit ook verlore
Soos sy vlerke, sy tuiste
Hoe lank sal hy kan aanhou?
Sonder om te wonder of hy ooit sal kan

the fealing of having lost his purpose.. So intense, so painful... Must be what the homeless people feal like in the big cities that took everything from them but gave nothing back.

ah it's very dark... of course i don't understand afrikaans ... i like the sense of doom that you create, the questions about the angel's capabilities... tainted by the humans... yeah. definitely very dark...
