I love the lighting and the expression (though I do hope you're happier than this makes you appear).Β I'd give my toes to have your talent in digital art... I never really grew past the traditional pencil/painting stuff.

I'm flattered! I still do pencil studies and sketches on paper. Not everyone likes digital painting and I don't think it is an indispensable requirement for growing up as an artist - those great painters we learn about at school are an example.
Have you ever tried to draw digitally? You may find it quite fun and more interesting than traditional drawing, it depends on your personal taste, I think. At first, you might feel frustrated (I was desperate lol) but it will get better and better with practice. I draw every day, even for five or ten minutes and I think this is very important.Β
