Description I spotted this Spotted Salamander yesterday evening and I swear he was smiling at me (:
I ended up being more dirty then him because I had to set up the tripod very low and almost lay on the ground ...amazing he did not take off ( flash used )

Beautious! Is that particular species poisonous? Those yellow spots are bright. Bright colors usually mean poison.
