Surprisingly, the hair wasn't all that hard to make in this piece (thank gawd! XD) The paintbrush effects in OpenCanvas 1.1 kinda took care of the blending for me (y'know how it goes from light to dark? Yeh ) and I just added some white strands on it from PS and tadah! Hair! XD It wasn't too magical actually, the beginning hair sketch was quite messy (And shrinking it down kinda helps hide the messy lineart ...sorta )

Yeah I agree there IS too much bg I guess I'ma have ta trim it down a bit XD Thanks for pointin' it out Liger Either that or stretch it out and make a wallpaper OwO!

Naw, I think anyone will be able to grasp hair with enough practice. Besides, I don't think I've ever seen you draw in a different style before so just give it a try, it couldn't hurt right?

The way I did this hair was to just start with a really messy lineart (like this one ). Then I just colored it in with a lil shading here and there. And I made a new layer, used the pen tool to add lots of random strands of white hair and voila. Non-blocky-ish hair

But ahh, if anything, the style of hair you draw in is pretty spiffy though

Aww that's not true. You draw pretty decent hair! Just try practicing more by looking how hair flows (in real life and in anime) and copy it. Tutorials also help. I'm sure you'll start to get better overtime. Also, try not to smudge your hair (or any pencil shading) to blend it, it'll make it look dull. Other than that just practice, practice, practice.. that's all I could say. I wish the best of luck to you
