hive gods come and go
but As the Darkness is concerned trickery brings foes long dead to fight again.... fight once again.... but under a new ruler
When Uzza Xaphan was taken she was forced to do many things under the flags of the red legion.
Like bring back 3 foes that the light has vanquished...
tricking her dead cousin and consuming his soul to become one of her taken commanders...

Uzza's Taken (1/3) next one come in November who shall it be Thuun the Mad (cabal commander that was formerly stuck in the Vex system on mercury) or Atheon the Shattered Mind (Vex Mind of Venus former keeper of the Vault of Glass)
(Nokris was a hive heretic that defied the sword logic of his father and cast aside. Nokris committed the ultimate taboo by forming a pact with Xol a worm god that used knowledge as power... not the Power of taking like Oryx and try'ed to take Mars during the warmind campaign in destiny 2)
P.S to watchers my next Story chapter for my OC is coming soon just working out the kinks it might be uploaded later tonight or sometime tomorrow.... with hints of future projects

Thanks, I'm actually quite partially surprised that they actually did something like this.
It feels odd in a way but who knows if they might bring any other old Bosses back.... Heck the tier 3 boss in Reckoning is just another copy of an Echo Of Oryx from D1 so its not out of the Ball park (I assume at the moment.)
but inside I'm filled with joy that for once I'm one of those people that guessed predicted something eventually happening in a fictional series.

This is awesome Hellmaster! I love people that can take a thing from a game and turn it into a awesome fan-made design! I do this all the time with my pencil drawings, taking cabal, fallen, hive, and vex leaders and making them my own I guess you could say, "taken." After all, I am the taken mind, bad pun ik. I also build an entire lore around them as well, and instead of basing them on the taken, I base them off the darkness, and how its going to come soon. Anyways, I would love to hear how you took this and made it look 3D, have a fantastic day, and keep on doing what your doing my friend!

I like seeing these things as well!, sometimes it helps bring ideas into my own mind when I see other artists create such masterpieces and I still have a few up my sleeve. bad puns lol! I make crack on that sometimes but its always refreshing to hear another artist make a pun on their tag.... I rarely see that these days, however, I do try to invest lore but connecting it with how things happened in my fanfiction you just have to look around my gallery to connect the dots.
Plus, the darkness is ever fascinating within the Destiny universe, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only artist drawn to it and how I got this creature to look 3D well thats kind of simple I looked up reference images to create him and used my taken template for the proper patterns I need and started painting this together piece by piece. It took about slightly less than 8 hours to create this (included food and bathroom breaks)
and with my newer taken projects I started adding the yellow effect with the eyes and the white dots and I started including these dots after I saw a taken rifle made by another popular deviant artist named ItzPr3d4t0r (He is very talented when it comes to creating awesome rifle ideas for destiny)... it made me think if I can make my taken look closer to in-game It might be a good idea to add these dots.

I've experimented with the taken since Taken King came out a few years back and I just seem to get a bit better through the years as you can see and I hope this was very informative and hope to hear back from you soon TheTakenMind

It looks like we have a similiar goal I'm going to college to learn 3D modeling and once I learn how I think that will help escalate my art to the next level + adding chances of possible battle ideas + animation (sadly I still have to finish core classes before then... 2 years to go

Hey, I just posted my first deviation and I wanted to know if you were interested in interlining our realties? I know you have your own universe and so do I, we both have common goals and common universes. Well in december i will be having a request event, so if u want me to create something cool for your fanfiction i can. The event will be open sometime between December 1st and 5th when i podt the cover. But I'll go into detail with that later (u could possibly find details of past events from covers in my gallery) and details of my universe I could go into further detail when more free time comes up in december after my fall classes end.... sadly i dont got the time at the moment to much college homework

Indeed. That's the Taken for ya, like it was not hard enough for Nokris being part of the Hive race with a parasite worm within its body that demands you to kill to gain strength and demanding you kill any creature harvesting light within its soul.
The Hive know nothing but Dispair and Death and worshipping the dark forces of the universe through their entire culture within the destiny universe.

Hmm... that's interesting. I have an OC... well haven't drew him... it, but he believes Despair is what gives life to everything thus despair is what all should follow, not the illusion of "hope". And as such he wishes to expresses despair upon all, friend and enemy alike so then they can join him in the depths of despair.

interesting sounds very similar to the Hive's logic. In The Destiny Universe, it looks like the Hive only knows despair and they do everything in their power to wipe away the feelings of hope and devour all that oppose them growing stronger as they feed their worms... the parasite that helps them live longer. The Hive have wiped out many species in the universe for just worshipping the light or getting in their way. Power is not given..... The true way to gain power is to Take.... that's the Hive's logic.... or at least the way Oryx the Taken King did things to gain power and any foe that he deemed strong he would take them into his ascendant realm and break their souls and Corrupt them, thus, making them part of his Taken army. (Oryx took an enemy that wanted him captured or dead and corrupted him into one of his own taken lieutenants and corrupted some of his own soldiers to make them stronger to fight opposing threats)
Funny thing is I keep reverting back to old knowledge and things I probably already told you.... is that weird... now thinking about it probably is with how I keep comparing new ideas to old ones I have already seen but on how your OC sounds. It sounds very similar to the king I mention, Heck your Oc character and this Hive god could potentially get along... Kinda Scary to think about isn't it ?_?

The king would do that... my OC would do the same but for those who resist they'll show them a fate worst than death, despair.
Well... define get along because mines only thinks of himself of desiring despair and inflicting it on others. But yes.

within the destiny universe becoming taken is a fate worse than death.... its sort of a forced limbo deal.. not quite alive... but not quite dead neither. (despair incarnate)
same went for Oryx all he cared about was taking (which inflicts despair among all those affected...spreading fear to all that heard his name and he loved every moment of it)
but sadly Oryx has been dead now for 3-4 years thanks to the guardians of the last safe city on earth, but in Destiny 2 we learn that Oryx's trickster sister Savathun has picked up where Oryx left off by taking control of his forces and taking control of the biggest creature Oryx has ever taken an Ahamkara named Riven of a Thousand Voices (last of the wish dragon's) and Savathun used her wish to completely corrupt a planet to have an endless cycle of pain and torment among its people... An endless curse that continues even after guardians kill the dragon....
and Savathun hides in the shadows for her moment to strike.
side note: with these dragon's, they live through there bones after death whispering to whoever hears their call.... promising wishes and making symbiotic connections to their bearers. (most guardians refuse to wear these bones, but some can't resist their call for power and what the negative side effects of the wishes)

Officially 2 sons, 2 daughters.
Sons: Crota and Nokris
Daughters: Ir Anuk and Ir Halak
But technically all the hive under his command was his children in some way but not treated as such not like the ones with the names above bc with the hive these names were like gods to them and they were very powerful

well there is a hive witch queen which made me wonder

There are some side stories but I was going by basic knowledge of his closest kin, not the stragglers that did not make names of themselves as a god status.
(I might have missed a detail or 2, but ya there was a lot that was not in game.. that was hidden behind the lore that can be found on youtube)
Learn most from the Lore: war with the fallen bc they want the traveler to themselves not to share with us, The hive hate us bc we are bearers of the light and they want to consume all that wield the light leaving nothing but room for darkness, The cabal they are just a war bound race that goes to war against anyone that stands in their way of world conquest for the cabal empire.
At least that's what I remember from lore videos that I saw on youtube.
