Corrupted by the taken and controlled by the Corruption.

Charek was once known as Taraho.

Taraho was part of a team of bounty hunter's that lived on the hub called the Seven Deaths centuries ago since the space station was neutral ground.

But Taraho went after every bounty that had ever laid rest on his doorstep whether it be from the fallen or by any guardian or non-guardian as long as it paid well. Most of the time with his team came out on top with successfully taking out any prey that laid in wait of them but one day a high profile bouty came on his doorstep. A bounty for the Head of the Cabal Empire Emperor Calus for 30 billion Glimmer for the capture or killing of this mighty cabal, but the tricky part was in finding a route that did not lead in the fireteams first failure. That's where Taraho came in. He can hack any security system whether it be made by the mighty warminds of Earth or the Hive or even the far branches of the cabal empire.

However, Taraho got lazy over the years not bothering to cover his tracks and hacked the Hubs vast information streams and found a rout that can lead to the immediate elimination of Calus. The Seven Deaths got in their ships and deployed right to the heart of the cabal empire.... but one of the Commanders of the Hub got wind of this and informed Calus that a fireteam was on their way to challenge him.

Commander Gruv informed Calus that the Seven Deaths were coming...

Oh Calus had nothing to fear because he was ready with his shadows and sadly the Seven Deaths stood no chance against the entire Cabal Empire.

2 were shot down from orbit and killed on site with a heavy barrage of rockets and anti air fire.

3 were decimated in the court room of Calus's palace.

and only 2 made it to the mighty Cabal Emperor.

It was Taraho and his younger sister Feha...

They stood their ground but Calus did not have to lift a finger because Hub security had arrived and arrested Taraho and Feha before they can even shoot a bullet, but Calus demanded to make an example of the 2 wimpy guardians. Gruv did as he said and handed the 2 to Calus and Calus chose Feha and took 3 of his Psions.... to break her mind.... That heartless bastard broke her mind in front of her brother.

Taraho screamed his lungs out demanding that he be the one to be punished not his younger sister, but Taraho was knocked quickly out by Gruv.

Next thing Taraho knew he woke up in a Anubus Ur prison and no signs of his sister anywhere.

He would ask day in and day out where is my sister to the guards but he would never get an answer.

Years past by Taraho was losing it trying to pick the lock but everytime he did so The cabal guards would break his hands with a sledge hammer multiple times and forcing Taraho's ghost to heal him just for them to do it again.

But one day he was in luck because the prison was under attack and a guardian in red and black opened his cell and offered him freedom and to join him in the new faction known as the Red legion.

Evil looking bunch of bastards but Taraho just wanted to get out and find his sister, so he joined the fight along the legion vs the Hub, This partnership lasted a few months, but after seeing Athane bring a dragon back and the legion on the run from the Taken... Well Taraho knew he F**ked up so he ran and scanned the sky's for air stream's from any leaving ships so he can run and hide for a bit get a new plan going. After a few scans he found 1 by a Anubus Ur prison ship and tracked it to the Dreaming City.

Not knowing what he might run into, but anything is better than a 3 way war that he could not win.

He landed in an area called the Divalian Mists and saw a Fallen dressed in partially titan gear run into a series of caves, so out of curiosity Taraho followed because maybe this weird fallen might have some clue where to find his prison transport ship and hack it's data base so possibly... Just possibly Taraho might have a chance to find his sister.

After a few hours Taraho lost site of this fallen and got lost in this underground labyrinth and left & right finding a few taken thrall, but nothing to major till 6 more hours pass when he finds a hulking Taken Fallen in front of him with weird crystals popping out of his shoulders and purple light shining from its eyes.

Taraho immediately activated his golden gun and fires all 6 of his shots without thinking but this Fallen counters by opening a black space that just devoured all 6 shots like it was nothing.

Taraho try's again and again to no avail this new Taken had him outmatched and out gunned.. So eventually Taraho try's to run but is quickly grabbed and slammed to the ground and thrown against a far off wall.

Breaking his ribs and knocking the wind right out of him, but before Taraho can move the taken Fallen quickly teliports in front of him and stabes Taraho with all 4 blades.

Pinning him against the wall. 2 blades in his hands and 2 in his arms.

This Taken begins to speak with asking have you been dishonored? have you been betrayed? HAVE YOU LOST SOMEONE DUE TO THE HUBS BETRAYAL?

All these hit straight home to this hunter and Taraho asked What are you? this makes no utter sense Taken don't speak! Only their masters do.

This Fallen calls himself the Son of the Dark Moon and his name sounded familiar but before another word could be uddered this fallen stabs a purple crystal into Taraho's hand and says all will be revealed just accept this gift.

Taraho vision and hearing leaves him.... See's nothing but a field of darkness and he begins to hear a voice and see's a purple light.

This light offered him power and a new life where he can take revenge on the hub and find his sister... So like most that are left in Taraho's condition he accepted the dark lights terms and was reborn into the Charek Gunman of the Dark Moon. This new Dark Guardian was reborn and now serves Taken Aukark the son of the Dark Moon   and his new puppet master the Abyssal Lybrarian. On a Quest to take revenge on those that wronged them.
