Aaaand here I go again with the creative image titles...
So I just recently started watching Game of Thrones (better late than never, eh?) and also reading the books... this is some awesome stuff! It's just that now I am constantly afraid to get too attached to any characters, because they might just get killed in the next episode and... gah! The feelings!
Anyways, this is Daenerys Targaryen a.k.a. the Khaleesi, who is awesome and will hopefully be around for a while longer. Please.
Emilia Clarke, who plays her in the series is ridiculously gorgeous so I had to paint her. Changed her eye colour though, because in the books they are purple.
I painted this in GIMP and used this screencap as a reference.

Skin texture is wow! The rest of it is wow too of course, but skin texture in particular is something I really struggle with in my digital work!

Thank you! She really is beautiful... I'm a little sad that they didn't incorporate the purple eyes into the show, since they are supposed to be such a significant trademark of House Targaryen... but oh well, Emilia looks great anyway.

I LOVE the way you drew her purple eyes. They are so deep and beautiful. She's only a frightened child here, yet in a few months she'll become the greatest threat to Lannister regime. Amazing job!
