And here we go with the so-called Kingslayer. It's been a while since he's looked this polished on the show though...
Jaime is a character I really love to hate, and I'm quite excited as for how his story is going to continue - please no spoilers, I haven't started watching season three yet.
As for this painting, I don't know why, but I'm not too happy with this. I cannot pinpoint what it is that bothers me, I just... don't like it that much. Still, I decided to finish and upload it for the sake of completeness. Might do another painting of rugged Jaime later on, maybe that'll turn out better.
I deliberately lightened his hair quite a bit, since the golden blonde hair is supposed to be a Lannister trademark but he is rather a dark blonde on the show. Plus I tried to incorporate the green eyes, another Lannister feature, but it isn't really noticeable. Oh well.
Anyway, I hope some of you might like it.
This is the reference I used. Done in GIMP with an Aiptek tablet.

Books apart Jaime is a character I hated in season one,
to my eyes he was just a Lannister like all the others, just another fierce lion,
then in the next seasons ( in particular the third ) he became one of my favorite characters,
he might be sly and a bit cruel but he's also loyal and kindhearted,
traits that the other Lannister's don't have ( maybe Tyrion is an exception )

They are doing it often with many characters,
for example the reed brothers, I think they deserved more screen time

This is so awesome. The depth is phenomenal and the hair is fabulous. The skin shading is wonderful too.
