so this is what has come out of my being snowed in at my house today.i figured, why not finish a painting i already started.
just something simple.
took me a bit to get it sketched on the canvas, cause i'm not use to working on that large of a scale.
but i heart it.
it was originally part of a design for my webclass, but after i finished it, i thought it would look awesome on a canvas.
so there it is.

This is actually a painting and not sure how it would look as a print. Though, I was actually considering selling the painting. Or I'll just have to fudge with it a bit so it looked nice enough for a print.

thats tight, i like the color scheme. did you mask out each color or do you have a very steady hand?

I hate masking things off, the paint always bleeds.

yeah it can do, a good way around that is to use matte medium along the edge first. or mix elmers glue and water if you are poor, its the same anyway, seals it off, and whatever bleeds through is mostly invisble.

stress and sugar is a deadly combo for fine motor skills. i learned that one in some art class long ago. i like masking tape, but its a massive pain in the ass when it goes wrong.
i have a special hatred for the big 2 foot wide rolls of mask.
