In a country far away, two princes live in a kingdom. The purple prince is the older brother-- the gray prince is the youngest of the two. Rightfully, the elder prince should be king, but the king, in his final days, announced the younger prince as future king, for his personality is more fair than the other one's.
Stricken with awe and jealousy, the eldest locked the younger prince away inside the palace, telling the country grave news that his brother died along with his parents when they passed of illness. The eldest took his forbidden throne as king.

In tough situations, Frog Prince is forced to go to his brother for help. He hates losing his pride, but he's not afraid of his brother, who he keeps underfed and weak for a reason. He's kind of dumb but he has quick wits when it comes to lying.

Nowadays, the youngest is only allowed out of his room, or prison cell, at night, and so he's forced to walk around with a lantern hanging from his horn to avoid overdoing his magic while lighting up the dark palace rooms. When he can escape his room in the day, he tries desperately to say that he's alive, but the king's 'honest and great' personality convinces his royal subjects that he's just a loony butler. Midnight Oil even tried to kill the king once while he was walking in the garden. His escape attempts never end up successful. Though he has a fair and intelligent personality, sometimes he really DOES go crazy. . .
