Finally got round to reading Dotc (Still am so no spoilers please!) And you know what I like about those books? They actually write the characters really well! It's the first time I've ever been interested in what will happen next rather than just huffing as I try to make it to the end of the book without getting mad.
Grey wing is depicted as the sort of firestar saviour for that time, but unlike firestar he is flawed, he has a temper, he feels grief and fear. He isn't a self righteous cat that always thinks the better in everyone for no apparent reason or always knows what to do. He has moments where he can act upset or angry but it feels natural and in character of him. I really like Dotc so far as you can probably tell XD More wc art coming soon when I finish em on my school break times!
