Is this the sword Cloud uses in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, the Fenrir?

there are replicas of a sword very similar to this--my friend's brother has one, and i have a pictuer laying around somewhere of him holding it. good lord, it is heavy. i know it was a final fantasy replica, but being as i don't follow the games, i'm not sure of what the original sword was. he had two other replicas: a long katana sword that was taller than he was, and a sword with a handle that was actually the handle of a gun. they were pretty awesome

Sadly this is anatomically incorrect. The Big sword at the top is supposed to split open to allow the other 6 swords the "grips" to stay together and "lock" them in place. If you look carefully, you can see that it doesn't have that aspect working as it goes through the steps to become First Tsurugi at the very end. Very nice details on them, aside from that small hiccup in the joining of them.

how's the sword called...buster sword?...maybe but I might be wrong...however Zack's sword is called First Tsurugi...but I might be wrong here as well...anyway i think these are the names...and both swords look great

Zack's sword is the Buster sword. This one here, at the bottom, is the First Tsurugi. The swords that make it up, when separated, are called 2nd Tsurugi, 3rd Tsurugi, and so-on.

I was wondering how that worked. For awhile I thought that they just threw a bunch of swords together and said that it worked like that. Pretty sweet. Did you make this in a 3D modeling program or did you get it from some where.

I love the Advent Buster Sword!
They had the real thing at Trueswords.com but they took down the entire anime section a while aho
ir was a 56" blade and wheied 16 pounds put together.

This really isn't very practical is it? My goal a few years ago was to my an actual, physical, working model of these swords that could actually fit together and connect. But it's just not gonna work, is it?

lol When I first watched Advent Children I was wondering where all his swords were disappearing to, and then when they separated at the end I went, "Oooooh. That's where they went." It's nice to see them in the different stages.

I never knew the buster sword was a collection of a lot of swords and your detail is great

it's only a collection in Advent children. in the original game it was one sword tat he had been given from his friend. in the movie you see that he left the buster sword up on a hill.
